- Chairing complex multi-agency meetings, confidently managing challenging dynamics
- Ensuring statutory processes are followed and timelines are met
- Driving forward best outcomes for children and families through robust planning and oversight
- Collaborating with social workers and key partners to maintain a high standard of practice
- Monitoring care plans and making recommendations to improve service delivery
- Advocating for children’s voices to be heard in all decision-making processes
- Offering guidance to social workers, students, and other professionals as needed
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualified experience working with children and families
- Proven ability to chair multi-agency meetings confidently and effectively
- Strong working knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Ability to build meaningful relationships and challenge practice where needed
- Excellent communication, mediation, and negotiation skills
- A passion for quality, accountability, and improving outcomes for children
- A creative, forward-thinking, and reflective approach to practice
