This SEND School is a successful specialist SEND school for boys aged 8-18 with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). They are seeking a professional, welcoming and highly organised Receptionist/Administrator to become an important part of our administrative team and the first point of contact for our school community.

About the Role

You will manage the smooth running of the school reception area, support the day-to-day administrative needs of the school, and uphold our high expectations for safeguarding and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greeting visitors, families, pupils and staff, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Managing incoming calls, emails, post and enquiries
  • Supporting attendance processes and maintaining accurate pupil records
  • Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff
  • Keeping the reception and office areas organised and welcoming
  • Assisting with school events, meetings and general office duties
  • Handling confidential information with care and professionalism

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Friendly, approachable and confident in dealing with a wide range of people
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Have a experience as an administrator or receptionist.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in using IT systems and office software
  • Calm, resilient and a strong team player
  • Committed to supporting the ethos of a specialist SEND school

Experience in a school office or SEND environment is desirable but not essential training will be provided.
