Our client is a key supplier to some of the UK's premium retailers and foodservice outlets. With a reputation for quality products and a high-performing engineering team, they're now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Cheshire.

What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment
- Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automation and instrumentation systems
- Supporting production teams with machine changeovers and setups
- Manufacturing or repairing parts when needed
- Recording all maintenance work and contributing to CI projects
- Always promoting and upholding the highest Health & Safety standards

About you:
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent
- Recognised engineering qualification (mechanical/electrical)
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG a bonus)
- Strong electrical fault-finding and analysis skills
- Proactive, flexible and detail-focused approach
- Confident communicator and genuine team player
