Trainee Insolvency Administrator | Norwich | Full Time | Competitive Salary

Our client is one of the largest regional business rescue and insolvency practices in the UK, providing clients with comprehensive corporate advisory and insolvency services.

They are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Insolvency Administrator at their city centre Norwich office to support their compulsory and bankruptcy team. Additionally, you will progress to and receive training in handling aspects of insolvency casework.

Please note- no previous experience will be necessary as full training will be provided.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • An organised and positive approach to work
  • A good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Graduates preferred or a minimum of 3 A levels or equivalent

What will your role look like?

  • Use of insolvency practice and paperless office software, including setting up new cases, posting relevant data and maintaining diary systems
  • Preparing checklists and carrying out relevant company house/anti-money laundering searches for new appointments
  • Preparing letter packs and drafting reports/standard documents post appointment
  • Various banking/tax related matters, including preparing online bank payments, carrying out bank reconciliations and preparing VAT and corporation tax returns
  • Assist the team with other ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Anti-money laundering reviews
  • Taking incoming phone calls via the main office number and transferring to the relevant person
