Location: Norwich (Hybrid)
Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 + Benefits

A growing acoustic consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding Norwich team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated consultant with experience in environmental or building acoustics to develop their career while working on a diverse range of projects across the East of England and beyond.

As an Acoustic Consultant, you'll support the delivery of technical projects, carry out noise assessments, manage client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the acoustics service line.

Duties for the role of Acoustic Consultant include:

  • Conducting environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments

  • Producing technical reports, noise impact assessments, and modelling outputs

  • Liaising with clients, planners, and local authorities

  • Supporting senior consultants with complex project delivery

  • Contributing to bids, proposals, and business development activity

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science or similar

  • Experience in environmental noise or building acoustics

  • Strong technical report-writing and communication skills

  • Understanding of relevant standards (BS4142, BS8233, etc.)

  • Full UK driving licence
