On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Content Writer

Annual Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Location: Norwich – fully office based.

Job Type: Full-time (35 hrs per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm)

In this role you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance consumer-facing content. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for financial services, possessing the ability to deliver compelling and informative content across various digital platforms.

Day-to-day of the role:

Plan, write, and manage unique and engaging content tailored for a consumer audience, including news articles, eNewsletters, and guides.
Work closely with the Website Manager and team members to create and manage editorial content from inception to completion.
Conduct thorough research and produce SEO-optimised content that meets the needs of our audience.
Ensure all content is clear, compelling, and accurately reflects the brand’s voice.
Collaborate with stakeholders for the review and approval of content.
Respond to content requests and deadlines promptly.
Utilise content management systems effectively, ideally Umbraco, and engage with social media platforms to enhance content reach.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven excellent writing skills with the ability to produce original and compelling copy.
Experience in writing for a consumer audience, particularly in financial services.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in SEO writing.
Proficiency in Google Analytics and content management systems, preferably Umbraco.
Experience with Dotdigital and social media platforms is beneficial.
Knowledge of the UK financial services industry and experience working in a regulated environment are desirable.
