On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Content Writer

Annual Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Location: Norwich – fully office based.

Job Type: Full-time (35 hrs per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm)

In this role you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance consumer-facing content. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for financial services, possessing the ability to deliver compelling and informative content across various digital platforms.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, write, and manage unique and engaging content tailored for a consumer audience, including news articles, eNewsletters, and guides.
  • Work closely with the Website Manager and team members to create and manage editorial content from inception to completion.
  • Conduct thorough research and produce SEO-optimised content that meets the needs of our audience.
  • Ensure all content is clear, compelling, and accurately reflects the brand’s voice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for the review and approval of content.
  • Respond to content requests and deadlines promptly.
  • Utilise content management systems effectively, ideally Umbraco, and engage with social media platforms to enhance content reach.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven excellent writing skills with the ability to produce original and compelling copy.
  • Experience in writing for a consumer audience, particularly in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in SEO writing.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and content management systems, preferably Umbraco.
  • Experience with Dotdigital and social media platforms is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the UK financial services industry and experience working in a regulated environment are desirable.
