Company & Project:A successful privately ownedMain Contractor operating in the Education, Healthcare, Residential, Science and Commercial sectors locally, are recruiting a Design Manager to join their regional office workingacrossPre-Construction and with the on-site delivery team.
The client has an exciting opportunity for an Design Manager to join the business working with a talented and experienced Senior Design Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:The successful candidate will take responsibility in managingthedesign process - helping supervising consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
This candidate should have some knowledge of practical construction methodology in addition to exposure managing technical information on projects.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 5years+ experience with design co-ordination or architectural technology or similar/comparable discipline.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Experience working for a Main Contractor previouslybe advantageous.
- Previous Roles: Design Manager OR Assistant Design Co-ordinator OR Design Coordinator OR Graduate Design Manager OR Architectural Technologist OR Architectural Technician.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Construction Management/Architecture/Engineering/Architectural Technology or comparable qualification e.g. HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ.
