Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Norwich

Pay/Day rate/Salary (salary for perm roles): £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (OTE, including basic and commission)

Hours of Work: 5-day working week, including weekends on a rota

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Sales Executive who has experience in automotive retail sales and can work in a fast-paced, customer-focused showroom environment in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a leading electric vehicle brand and you will be guiding customers through their EV journey—from first enquiry to final handover—while providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the process.

Duties of a Sales Executive

In this role you will be working in the Retail Sales Team to grow dealership sales and promote electric mobility solutions to retail customers. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Handling new and used vehicle sales enquiries, both in-person and online

  2. Providing knowledgeable, friendly advice to customers about electric vehicles and finance options

  3. Meeting individual and team sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores

  4. Delivering professional vehicle handovers to ensure a seamless customer experience

  5. Maintaining accurate sales records and following all compliance and FCA requirements

Skills and experience of a Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive, you need to have experience with:

  1. Working in an automotive sales or showroom-based environment

  2. Achieving and exceeding personal and departmental sales targets

It would be beneficial to the Sales Executive role if you also had:

  1. Knowledge or interest in electric vehicles and sustainable technologies

  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

  3. A full UK driving licence
