Pin Point Recruitment are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver's Mate to join our clients team.

You will assist the delivery driver in transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the delivery process. Experience in a warehouse environment and familiarity with commercial driving practices will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Ensure that all deliveries are made accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members to coordinate deliveries
• Handle heavy lifting of packages and equipment as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and loading area
• Follow all safety protocols during transportation and handling of goods
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Requirements

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Valid driving licence, preferably with experience driving larger vehicles
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is an asset
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
