Sales Manager - Automotive

Location: Norwich Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic | OTE: £55,000 - £60,000 + High spec electric company car.Permanent | Full-time

Are you an experienced automotive leader with the ability to drive team performance and deliver a first-class customer experience? Looking for a new challenge where you can shape sales strategy, develop talent, and have real commercial impact?

We’re working on behalf of a respected, multi-site motor retail group to appoint a capable and driven Sales Manager at one of their Norfolk showrooms. This is an opportunity to lead from the front—balancing operational focus with team leadership and customer engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and motivating a team of Sales Executives to achieve new and used vehicle targets across all product lines, including F&I.
  • Overseeing the customer journey to ensure a consistently high standard of service that supports retention and long-term satisfaction.
  • Working closely with senior managers to plan sales activities, monitor stock profiles, and align departmental performance with business goals.
  • Managing showroom presentation and stock control, ensuring vehicles and facilities meet required standards at all times.
  • Running daily sales meetings, monitoring activity boards, and ensuring marketing campaigns are clearly communicated and actioned by the team.
  • Supporting key sales conversations by second-facing customers where necessary to assist with closing, pricing, and finance compliance.
