Production Operative

Here at Contract Personnel, we are currently recruiting for Temporary Production Operatives on behalf of our well-established and respected client within the manufacturing industry.  

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is beneficial but not essential

Surface Preparation & Finishing

• Inspection and reworking of materials or components

• Preparing surfaces for treatment or finishing

• Applying pre-treatment processes in line with quality standards

Production

• Manufacturing of various parts or components

• Keeping the workspace clean and organised

• Conducting regular quality assurance checks

Assembly

• Assembling and fitting components using hand or power tools

• Assisting with builds across different stages of production

• Supporting the team to meet daily output targets

Health & Safety Measures

• Manual handling and equipment training provided

• High standards of housekeeping and workplace maintenance in place

• PPE provided where necessary

• Duties are rotated to reduce repetitive strain and fatigue

• Specific controls are in place for risks including noise, dust/fumes, machinery use, and manual handling

PPE Required:

• Steel toe capped safety boots (must be provided by the worker)
