The Role
Join our team as an Industrial/Office Cleaner to work in our Manufacturing function based in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning toilets, break areas, walkways, offices, windows, and external spaces
- Maintaining cleanliness in factory and manufacturing zones
- Hygiene cleaning of desks, equipment, and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep of floors
- Safe use and handling of cleaning chemicals
- Recording tasks accurately on cleaning rotas
- Supporting recycling and waste segregation
- Assisting with specialist cleaning during site shut-downs
- Maintaining fixed water dispensers
- Stock control and ordering of cleaning supplies
- Covering for other cleaners when needed
- Working alongside other departments and trades
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pm
What We Need
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or hygiene
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling
- Understanding of cleaning procedures and colour coding
- Basic Maths and English skills
- Strong communication and teamwork
- BICS qualification (desirable but not essential)
