Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Excavator Operative on a 12 month rolling Contract, based in Norfolk.
Role Summary
We are seeking experienced Excavator Operatives with a strong background in deep excavation and sheet piling works. The ideal candidate will be fully competent operating 10-tonne and above tracked excavators and hold the required lifting operations certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 10T+ tracked excavators safely and efficiently on site.
- Carry out deep excavation works in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Support and execute sheet piling operations, including assisting the piling team as required.
- Perform lifting operations following approved lift plans and company procedures.
- Inspect and maintain plant equipment to ensure safe working condition.
- Work collaboratively with site teams and follow instructions from site supervisors.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in deep excavation and sheet piling works.
- Competency in operating 10-tonne and above tracked excavators.
- Lifting Ops / Slinger Signaller or equivalent lifting operations certification.
- Strong understanding of site safety standards and safe digging practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Additional plant tickets (e.g., dumper, roller).
- CSCS card.
