Our client is a well-established carpentry contractor based in Norwich. Renowned for their quality, high-end workmanship, they are In high demand and with full order books. Due to the increasing demand they are seeking either a Carpenters Assistant/Improver or an experienced Carpenter to join their team. The successful candidate will assist with or carry out a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, 1st and 2nd fix work, kitchen installations, and general construction duties.

Candidates must:

Have a valid driving licence and their own transport to get to site
Be confident using hand and power tools
Have good attention to detail and a tidy approach to working
Be capable of reading technical drawings (preferred, not essential for improvers)
Be physically fit and able to carry out manual labour

While the role is ideally suited to someone developing their trade skills, experienced carpenters with their own tools are also encouraged to apply and will be considered for higher daily rates of £200£250 depending on experience.

Training and support will be provided for less experienced applicants who show willingness and reliability.
