We are looking to appoint a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead and develop our structural engineering capability as part of our wider design and delivery team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of engineering solutions and contribute to the strategic growth of the business.The role includes responsibility for the design of bespoke screw piling, ground beams, and hybrid structural steel superstructures for projects ranging from low to high-rise buildings. While our current focus is residential and utilities, we are actively developing opportunities in the industrial and leisure sectors.You will work closely with the Design and Construction Directors and other senior stakeholders, taking a hands-on approach to structural design and overseeing the delivery of practical, buildable, and efficient solutions. Our work is often delivered in environments with restricted access, avoiding the use of craneage and offering unique engineering challenges.This position requires someone with a solid foundation in both steel and foundation design, managerial experience, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Key Requirements:
  • Chartered Member of the IStructE or ICE
  • 5–10 years post-graduate experience
  • Proven experience in structural steel and foundation design
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior engineers
  • Enthusiastic about developing and improving design processes
