Overview


We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support highways and civils projects in the Norwich area. The successful candidate will have proven experience in deep drainage, earthworks, and highways schemes. This role requires flexibility to move between sites and confidence in delivering high-quality setting out work.



Key Responsibilities


  • Setting out works for highways, drainage, earthworks, and general civils projects.

  • Interpreting and working from technical drawings, specifications, and designs.

  • Carrying out surveys and maintaining accurate site records.

  • Supervising and liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and management.

  • Ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

  • Supporting quality assurance and compliance with project requirements.


Essential Skills & Experience


  • Strong background in civils and highways engineering.

  • Proven deep drainage and earthworks experience.

  • Proficient in setting out (latest kit provided).

  • Good understanding of health & safety on construction sites.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.


Requirements


  • Must hold a valid driving licence (site travel required).

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Able to work on a CIS/Ltd company basis.
