About the Client:
My client is a leading civil engineering contractor offering a comprehensive range of services across civil engineering, rail, and environmental sectors. Specialising in highways , they work with government agencies, main contractors, local councils, and private clients. From bridge reconstruction to drainage schemes and vehicle restraint systems, they have built a reputation for reliability and exceptional service delivery.
The Role:
We are now seeking an experienced Highways Sub Agent to join our team in the Norfolk area. You will work closely with the General Foreman and Site Agent to deliver multiple schemes. With proven experience in highways and construction, you will have strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects without compromising on quality and standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Supporting the successful delivery of projects
·Ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal obligations, promoting best practices
·Contributing to cost planning and management
The Candidate:
To be considered, you should ideally be based within a commutable distance of Winchester. You will have at least 3 years of experience in highways and construction, with knowledge in areas such as drainage, earthworks, site clearance, fencing, vehicle restraint systems (VRS), pavements, kerbing, highways signage, electrical work for road lighting and traffic signs, and motorway communications.
Required qualifications and training:
·Relevant industry qualification (BEng/HND/HNC or equivalent)
·SMSTS certification
·Relevant CSCS card
