MS598 - Site Agent Salary: £60,000 Location: Norwich Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Agent on behalf of one of our clients, to join their Highways team. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input into your direct report’s annual goals and check in on the development of these regularly.
  • Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers and client representatives.
  • Coordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with “no in-flight change”.
  • Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolution.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of temporary works processes, design and management. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (through experience and formal training). Ideally ECC NEC4.
