Credit Controller

Credit Controller.     £25-28,000 DOE.     Norwich. 

Successful and well established business based in central Norwich is looking to appoint a Credit Controller. You will be responsible for ensuring prompt payment against invoices issued by the company for goods supplied under the agreed payment terms.

Your main duties include the following:

• Managing the aged debtor system to ensure debt is collected on time
• Raising invoices and other documents as required
• Finalising payments and following up where necessary
• Reconciling accounts
• Intercompany Reconciliations
• Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
• Supporting staff with queries both internally and externally
• Liaising with Project Managers and Sales Department to ensure that payments are received on time.
• Running credit checks
• Reporting
  • Daily Banking and preparation of Daily Sales Cash in Report
  • Preparation of Weekly Cash Flow Report
  • Monthly Group Reporting

Skills needed:

• At least 2 years solid credit control/sales ledger experience
• Have good communication skills at all levels of the business, with good written and verbal communication and well-developed interpersonal skills
• Possess good organisational skills with a genuine ability to multi task
• ERP systems experience desirable but not essential
