We're Hiring - Document Controller (Construction / Infrastructure)
Location: Norwich (remote until Oct/Nov 2025, then on-site)
Contract: 6 months (extension likely through 2026)
Start Date: 28/07/2025 - 30/01/2026
Hours: 40 per week
Pay: 17.30/hour

We're recruiting for a respected client delivering a major infrastructure project in Norwich. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to play a key role in a high-profile build.



Essential (Non-Negotiable)

  • Construction or infrastructure background (required).

  • Proven experience with Aconex or similar document management software.

  • Experience on large-scale projects.



Role Overview

Manage the full lifecycle of project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility.

  • Remote work until Oct/Nov 2025, then based on-site in Norwich.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee document workflows via Aconex.

  • Track and process documents (Aconex/SharePoint) with version control.

  • Maintain registers, manage revisions, and archive files.

  • Coordinate review cycles using Bluebeam Revu.

  • Collaborate with engineers, managers, and contractors.

  • Support setup and monitoring of document control processes.

  • Ensure procedures are followed during on-site activities.



Requirements

Essential:

  • Construction/infrastructure background.

  • Strong Aconex skills (or similar).

  • Document control experience on large projects.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • SharePoint experience.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.

  • Site-based or contractor-facing experience.

  • Training in quality or records compliance.
