We’re looking for nurturing, resilient, and proactive individuals to work on a casual, ad-hoc basis in specialist education settings in the Norwich area. This role is ideal for those with an interest in behaviour support, dysregulation, and trauma-informed practices, and who are ready to make a meaningful difference—one relationship at a time.
The Role:- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Help manage challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency
- Build trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma
- Support the class team in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Casual/supply work to cover staff absence and support school growth
- Minimum 2 days availability per week
- Full-day shifts only: 08:30 – 15:30
- Work available Monday to Friday, term time only
- Opportunities for longer-term placements for the right candidates
- Calm, compassionate, and emotionally intelligent
- Genuinely interested in SEMH, trauma-informed approaches, and inclusive education
- Able to stay grounded and positive in the face of challenging behaviour
- Experience is a bonus, but attitude and commitment are everything
