Atkinson Moss is delighted to be working with a small but passionate organisation based in the heart of Norwich as they seek to appoint a part-time Head of Finance.
By working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Finance will oversee both day to day financial responsibilities coupled with delivery of the long term financial strategy.
Overseeing a small team, the key duties are as follows:
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive strategies focused on revenue growth and long term business strategies
- Lead on the preparation of annual and long-term financial budgets aligned to growth objectives
- Support specific grant applications as appropriate
- Produce meaningful and timely financial reports for the Board and budget holders
- Oversee multiple contracts with supporting reports
- Produce all statutory financial reports in a timely manner
- Embed robust financial controls and ensure all relevant compliance is maintained
- Ensure bank reconciliations are conducted on a timely basis.
- Oversee payroll and pension information with external provider
- Effectively manage a small finance team
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), however individuals qualified through experience will also be considered. The role is offered as a 3 day a week position based at the organisations charming city centre location.
