HGV 1 HIAB Tramper Driver - Temp to Perm
Location: Norwich, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (approximate average, based on a typical work week)
The Role:
ARC is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 HIAB Tramper Driver for a temporary to permanent position with our valued client in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys a varied and independent role.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the UK, using your HGV Class 1 and HIAB skills. This is a tramping role, meaning you will be required to stay away from home for several nights a week as you complete a variety of national routes. No two days will be the same!
What we are looking for:
- 
A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
 - 
An up-to-date HIAB certification (ALLMI or ITSSAR)
 - 
A valid CPC and Digi-Tacho Card
 - 
A minimum of 6 months' commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience
 - 
A positive and professional attitude
 - 
Strong communication and customer service skills
 - 
Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and driver hours regulations
 
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a HIAB crane attachment
 - 
Operating the HIAB crane to safely load and unload goods
 - 
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
 - 
Following all road haulage regulations and safety procedures
 - 
Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
 - 
Delivering goods to various locations across the UK
 - 
Providing excellent customer service at all times
