- Henderson Brown is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for a client in the FMCG sector located in Norwich.
- The ideal candidate should possess an engineering qualification and have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on electrical systems.
- Responsibilities include performing PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical machinery, with a working knowledge of conveyor belts and packaging systems.
- The position offers a salary of £40,000 per year and requires candidates to have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- The shift pattern alternates between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday, with opportunities for overtime at double time.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPMs and Reactive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical machinery
* Working knowledge of conveyor belts and packaging systems
* Work alongside the other engineers to perform appropriate duties
* Ensure all machinery and equipment is operating effectively
Requirements:
* An Engineering relevant qualification, such as a HNC/Level 3/NVQ
* Experience with a manufacturing environment previously, maintaining standard industry machinery
* Have great communication skills and a strong work ethic
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm (Week 1), and Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 7pm (Week 2). Overtime is also at double time when required.
