R13 are working on behalf of a highly established, strategically diverse, organisation in their search for a part-time Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager to join on a 20-25 hour per week basis. The employer is extremely recognised in their industry, and this is an excellent prospect for an experienced trusts and fundraising professional with a history of securing high-value income. As the charity pushes for further diversification in it's funding model, you will play a significant part.
Joining an already established set-up, this opportunity provides a basis for growth and high-level involvement, with the scope to make the role your own. A modest Y1 target awaits, with some progress already made towards achieving it. You will have full autonomy in identifying and pursuing opportunities and applications, working towards a common goal in line with business needs.

The Day to Day:
- Identification of opportunities offering suitable funding via various (unlimited) sources.
- Understanding funding criteria and how it maybe applied to the organisation.
- Writing dynamic and engaging applications, bids and supporting case studies.
- Ensuring a forecasted pipeline of opportunities, managing their progress and requirements.
- Overseeing bid development process. Achieving deadlines for applications to be made.
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Creating impact reports which highlight the benefit and results of awarded funding.
- Utilising strong understanding of budgetting for proposals
You Will Have/Be:
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the end-to-end bid writing process.
- Exceptional written comms skills, creating bespoke and appropriate applications which generate results.
- An effective team player, working closely with stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Deadline driven and able to work confidently under pressure.
- Comfortable working towards a monetary target.
- Proactive and dedicated work ethic, happy to work autonomously and achieve results.
- Longer-term strategic thinking, identifying upcoming priorities and opportunities and planning accordingly
- Creative - bringing ideas and identifying opportunities to extend the charity's impact
- Knowledge of the VCSE sector and wider fundraising environment
Desirables:
- Prior or current experience in a large / national charitable organisation would be desirable.
- Additional experience with Major Gift Fundraising would also be desirable.
