About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitionerto join our multidisciplinary clinical team. You will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and long-term conditions, delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting urgent and primary care services while contributing to service development and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Independently manage patients with undifferentiated and complex presentations
  • Prescribe medications and request/interpret investigations in line with scope of practice

  • Provide health promotion, education, and self-management advice to patients

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, paramedics, and allied health professionals

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and adhere to clinical governance requirements

  • Contribute to audit, service improvement, and mentoring of junior staff where appropriate
