On offer are either long-term contracts or staff positions, relocation support, good day rates or staff package.
We are looking for experienced Technical Safety Engineers with hands on skills/modelling, QRA as well as consequence assessment, including the use of PHAST or similar and CFD Tools and experience with fire water systems is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate safety studies including TRM, HAZID, Bowtie, ALARP.
- Develop Barrier Diagrams (Bowties) and undertake consequence modelling (PHAST, FLARESIM mandatory).
- Carry out QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment), Event/Fault Tree development, Hazardous Area Classification, and Fire & Explosion Risk Assessments.
- Prepare Safety Case updates and conduct 5-year Thorough Reviews.
- Manage technical safety studies via contractors (e.g., CBA, EERA, PEA, OBRA).
- Provide safety input for Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with OSDR/SCR, PFEER, DSEAR, DCR, PSR, and PSSR.
- Stay up to date with changes in safety legislation and industry standards.
