Gap Personnel is working with a client in Norwich City Centre, a leading company in their field are recruiting experienced Grounds Operatives on a Full Time temporary to permanent basis.
The role will involve working within a service-driven grounds team and you will be looking to be trained in all areas from shrub and hedge cutter, grass cutting, litter picking and litter picking the focus of the role will be to help maintain and improve the standard of the parks, open spaces, hosing areas, and highway verges.


Valid driving license is required for this role.

Pay - £12.60 per hour.

Shifts will be 5 days out of 7 and may include weekends so flexibility is needed to cover duties.

37 hours per week


Duties will include
• Grounds Maintenance activities such as pruning, hedge cutting and other duties.
• Drive various vehicles within the scope of an appropriate license (Training will be provided).
• Carry out care and maintenance to hedging, using tools and equipment.
• Ensure daily check on vehicles and equipment.
• Complete paperwork as instructed.
• Observe and continually promote equalities and customer care.


Ensure that reasonable care is always taken for the health, safety, and welfare of you and other persons and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety in this job
role / working environment including the depot and facilities.

Other duties

The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied therefore the post holder will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate to the role and as requested by his/her line manager
