Electronic Build Technician
My Norwich based client who design & manufacture downhole cameras are looking to strengthen their Electronics/hardware build team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role
Main duties and requirements:
- Build and assembly of electronics equipment up to assembly of full product lines used in oil and gas industry
- Be able to read, follow and understand electronics schematics
- Be able to perform rudimental fault finding of Electronic circuits
- Work on own initiative an absolute essential
- An understanding of firmware basic code manipulation SSH program etc (C, Python helpful but not essential)
- Strong soldering ability
- Keen eye for attention and ability to follow instructions to the letter
- Understanding of cameras and their operation a big positive
- Some UK and International travel may be required on rare occasions
