HGV Technician
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: £38,(Apply online only)-£40,(Apply online only) per annum (£18-£19 per hour) + attractive overtime rates (1.5x on weekdays and Saturdays, 2x on Sundays)
Hours: Monday to Friday with rotating shifts (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00) and every other Saturday (06:00-12:00)

Key Responsibilities:
- HGV Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance and repair tasks on HGVs, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations and solutions.
- Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients' staff on the operation and maintenance of machinery, promoting best practices.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service activities, parts used, and work completed for effective reporting and accountability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the HGV industry is essential.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Engine Expertise: Experience working on engines is advantageous.
- Fault Finding: Proficiency in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service.
- Leadership Qualities: A desire to lead, manage, and grow a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering are advantageous.
- Driver's License: Full UK Driver's License is required.
