Mon – Thurs: 08:30 – 17:00
Fri: 08:30 – 16:00


Contract Personnel are working alongisde a busy manufacturing business who are looking for a Quality Inspector/Lead to join their growing team. The Quality Lead will work with Team Leaders to ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality objectives.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001, BS EN standards, Scope of PS24 Certification, CE markings, etc.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, processes, and finished products.
• Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and quality records.
• Ensure non-conforming raw materials are isolated from stock and issues resolved.
• Collaborate with technical, production, and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are embedded in daily operations.
• Maintain accurate quality records and generate quality metrics and performance reports, presenting these to the senior management team.

Essential skills and qualifications

• Proven experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and BS EN requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to convey the requirements of the standards to multi-functional teams.
• Familiar with Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, and root-cause analysis tools.
