We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a professional team of Commercial Claims Handlers dealing with a variety of high value claims.
Due to significant business growth, this opportunity would enable you, after full training, to work on large and often complex Claims in a technical environment and on a 9am - 5pm non-call centre basis.
As a Claims Handler your responsibilities will include:
- Manage new claim notification, updates and collection requests
- Negotiate to achieve the most beneficial, cost-effective settlement for Clients
- Handle and manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issues
- Interpret policy wordings to obtain the best claims settlements for Clients
To be a successful Claims Handler you will demonstrate:
- Claims Handling experience, of any class, as training in Commercial classes is provided
- Able to take on-board new information which is technical in nature
- Analytically minded and able to resolve queries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and conscientious approach
