About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a leading financial services business, supporting the servicing of a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans across the UK and Europe.

In this role, you’ll be working closely with asset managers, legal teams, and senior management to ensure the smooth running of transactions, providing exceptional client service while adhering to processes and deadlines. You’ll be part of a collaborative, sociable team where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing multiple transactions, meeting project deadlines, and maintaining high service levels.

  • Support the servicing requirements of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans.

  • Collect and analyse borrower reports, including rent rolls, operating statements, and covenants.

  • Liaise with borrowers, guarantors, asset managers, and property managers.

  • Act as facility agent or primary servicer, representing clients and investors on a daily basis.

  • Work alongside legal and senior management teams on the closing of new deals.

  • Adapt to changing needs and priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Commercial real estate loan experience or loan servicing experience.

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

  • Experience with LMA/APLMA standard documentation is desirable.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adjust plans to meet changing deadlines.
