Panel Beater / Spray Painter - Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Spray Painter / Panel Beater for our well-established client based in Norwich.

How does the day-to-day look?

  • Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools to repair or replace vehicle panels.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand the structure of vehicles.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition, performing regular checks and repairs as needed.
  • Weld components where necessary to ensure structural integrity.
  • Assemble parts accurately to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.

You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Spray painter / Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical schematics related to vehicle bodywork.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Good customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs.

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, no weekends

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 DOE
