My client is seeking to speak with highly motivatedCivil Engineerswith3-6 years of UK-based experience for their Norwich office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects, with a particular focus onsustainable drainage systems (SuDS)andflood risk assessments.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Support the design of surface water drainage systems in line with current UK regulations and best practice
  • Prepare and reviewFlood Risk AssessmentsandDrainage Strategiesfor planning applications
  • Design and model drainage systems usingMicroDrainageandInfoDrainage
  • Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other consultants to ensure smooth project delivery

Essential Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of post-graduateUK civil engineering experience
  • Knowledge ofSuDS design principlesandUK planning policies
  • Experience in usingMicroDrainageandInfoDrainagesoftware
  • Experience preparingFlood Risk Assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar modelling software
  • Membership or working towards chartership with ICE or CIWEM
