About the Role:As a Graduate Planner, you'll support the Norwich-based planning team in preparing and delivering planning applications and development strategies across a wide range of sectors. With hands-on experience and guidance, you'll gain the core competencies required to thrive in the planning profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the drafting of planning applications, pre-application enquiries, and appeals

  • Conduct planning research and assist in basic appraisals

  • Prepare reports, letters, and other documents under supervision

  • Undertake site visits and contribute to community engagement activities

  • Monitor and review Local Authority plans and relevant policy updates

  • Assist in preparing fee proposals and business development materials

  • Develop your technical knowledge through practical, on-the-job learning

  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders throughout the planning process

  • A degree in Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline (or working towards one)
