RMS UXO Ltd is looking for a Project Researcher to support our UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) Risk Assessment department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your research skills in a specialist field where your work directly contributes to safety and risk management across the UK. You’ll be at the centre of information gathering, analysis, and reporting – helping us deliver high-quality assessments for clients across multiple industries.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and source critical information for Preliminary & Detailed UXO Risk Assessments
  • Maintain and develop internal databases and archives
  • Travel nationwide to liaise with external organisations and gather information
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality in reporting outputs
  • Support the development of internal processes and contribute to the department’s growth
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide clear, reliable insights
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in History, Archaeology, or Geography (required)
  • Proven experience in a research role
  • Strong technical writing and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Organised, adaptable, and confident in managing multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (GIS knowledge a plus)
