Material Handler

A world leading manufacturing business based in Norwich that is recognised for its dedication to providing quality products to the engineering and manufacturing sectors, has a fantastic opportunity for a Despatch Operator to join them at a very exciting time. This business is continuously developing its products and is hugely respected across the world.

Responsibilities:

To assist in the receipt and distribution of materials delivered from suppliers

To kit and deliver parts to the production cells as required for the proper manufacturing of product

To trigger Kanban cards per the material replenishment process, enabling buyers to ensure parts arrive from suppliers.

Take part in the cycle counting process, including producing count sheets, counting product, reconciling results

As required, partake in the creation, review and implementation of new procedures/work instructions, including suggesting improvements to currently issued procedures.
