An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a well-established environmental and geotechnical consultancy in Norwich. You will have the chance to join a global multi-disciplinary consultancy that are looking to expand their team of Geotechnical Engineers. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, combining both office-based design work and site-based input, providing excellent opportunities to broaden your technical expertise.


As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing geotechnical design solutions for a range of civil, sustainability and environmental projects, including foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and earthworks. You will work closely with project teams, contributing to ground investigation interpretation, technical reporting, and client liaison. The role also provides the chance to mentor junior engineers while developing your own skills alongside senior and principal engineers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience in geotechnical design and ground investigation interpretation
  • Reside within a commutable distance to Norwich
  • Full UK driving licence
