Keeler Recruitment are working with a client based in West Norwich to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the payroll process and play a key role within a supportive finance team.
The Role:
In this position, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of multiple payrolls (weekly and monthly). Your duties will include:
- Importing timesheets through to final payment and HMRC submissions.
- Handling payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Managing pension contributions, reconciliations, and related reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and internal procedures.
- Building strong relationships with third-party payroll providers and other internal departments.
- Conducting pre-payroll checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across all data.
About You:
- Previous experience in payroll (weekly or monthly) is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to deadlines.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word, with solid general IT skills.
