PAYROLL ASSOCIATE - Norwich to £26k + bonus + excellent benefits - hybrid 2/5
Salary level: Up to £26,000 pa based on skills and experience plus discretionary annual bonus (after probation)
Job type: Permanent Full Time, 35hrs/week Monday to Friday.
Location: Norwich. 2/5 hybrid working trial.
As a result of growth in demand for our client’s services they are seeking an addition to their Payroll Services Team. They have an opportunity for a Payroll Associate to join their friendly team of 9 based in Norwich.

The role
- To manage and accurately process a portfolio of payrolls end to end.
- Processing starters and leavers, payroll calculations, statutory payments, automatic enrolment, CIS statements, RTI Submission, API uploads.
- Provide client support on an on-line portal.
- Working on excel to maintain records of work carried out for clients.
- To remain an expert in your field by attending payroll update training and keeping up to date on changes in payroll legislation and changes that affect payrolls.
The Candidate
You must be able to work independently with appropriate support.
Qualifications and Experience
Desirable skills
- Recent experience on payroll bureau/chartered accountancy practice preferred.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a payroller, with a minimum of 2 years experience
- The ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence to build a rapport with franchisees and their clients using excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- A work ethic to organise yourself and your workload well, to work independently and collaboratively.
