Pre-Press Operator - Packaging Job Overview
- Collaborating closely with the Customer Service, Design, and Production teams.
- Processing customer files and converting them into print-ready PDF formats for approval and manufacturing.
- Planning and optimizing print layouts for production efficiency.
- Creating visual proofs for customer approval.
- Managing plate output for printing.
- Liaising with supply partners to maintain current technology while exploring new advancements for future business growth.
Pre-Press Operator - Packaging Job Requirements
- Previous experience in lithographic printing workflows, ideally within solid board packaging.
- Proficiency in key design and pre-press software, including the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, etc). a
- A good understanding of colour management in print is advantageous.
- A flexible and proactive mindset, open to adopting new technologies and ways of working.
