My client is a very reputable and well established financial planning and wealth management practice based just outside of Norwich (East).

They are currently looking for a Financial Services Administrator and whilst someone with Financial Plannign PRactice Exepreince would be very desirable, my client is open to someone who is keen to join the sector and feels confident and has previous experience, working in admin and with numbers.

You will be required to carry out a variety of duties as part of the role in assisting my clients existing Financial Advisers and their current support team.

The Role

This is a wide ranging and interesting position with enormous potential, working within a friendly environment with highly skilled and qualified Financial Advisers, the successful applicant’s duties would include the following:

  • Prepare client valuations and review packs
  • Process post-review related paperwork and prepare relevant correspondence
  • Communicate with clients and providers, responding to queries via telephone, email and post in a timely manner
  • Ensure financial transactions are completed correctly and files are fully FCA compliant by following internal compliance procedures
  • Ensure all client records and data are maintained accurately
  • Obtain and interpret information from providers and fund managers, keeping Financial Planners up to date with all communications
  • Send out letters of authority and correspondence to clients, professional introducers and other third parties
  • Prepare new client meeting packs
  • Other general administration duties as assigned

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year working in an administrative position (is desirable)
  • IFA practice experience (desirable)
  • Confident in use of Microsoft Office
  • Confident with numbers and working to a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work unsupervised (following training)

Benefits

Office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Hybrid working is available post probation

28 days holiday, this includes closure between Christmas and New Year plus Bank Holidays

Death in service 4 x salary, Pension
