To be considered for the Quantity Surveyor role, you must have:
- Possess relevant qualifications
- Access to own carÂ
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality work
- Previous experience in similar roles is preferred, but newly qualified individuals are also encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with construction software, particularly PriceAJob, will be advantageous to effectively measure and track project progress.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbalÂ
As a Quantity Surveyor, your role will involve:
- Prepare and manage project budgets and costs
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality assurance
- Measure and value the work completed
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents
- Engage in meetings to discuss project progress and budget adherence
- Work closely with the project team, including senior team membersÂ
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on-site
