Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Fibreglass Laminators based in the South Norfolk area. Own transport is essential.Â
This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Read and understand lay-up drawings and use laminating skills to carry out the required workload to the lay-up specification
- Apply lacquers and waxes to mould surfaces to facilitate assembly and removal of laminated parts
- Apply layers of gel to mould surfaces prior to placement of fibreglass mat, repeating layers until products have the desired thickness
- Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects
- Mask off mould areas which are not to be laminated, using cellophane, wax paper, masking tape, or special sprays containing mould-releasing substances
- Any other duties as required
Shift pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 16:30
Experience/skills required:
- GRP Laminating experience essential
- Adaptable: being able to adjust to changing situations and learn new things
- Good work ethicÂ
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
