Salary: FTE Salary: £23,656 per annum, Pro rata salary: £8,884 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday 15:00 - 18:00, 15 Hours per Week, split between the 2 schools (3 hours per day)

The Primary School and Nursery are members of the Education Trust. The Trust is an expanding multi-academy trust with 13 primary and 9 secondary schools.

The Role

They are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our schools as a daily cleaner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean classrooms staff rooms offices and library areas, including floors, walls, doors tables and chairs.
  • Clean corridors and reception areas.
  • Clean staff and student toilets.
  • Emptying bins and removing rubbish; taking to allocated refuse point.
  • Deep clean of carpeted floors termly.
  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are kept tidy and up to date with equipment.
  • Report any problems/damages to the Office Manager.
  • Request orders of cleaning equipment via the Office Manager.
  • Promoting Health & Safety within the workplace.
  • Undertake any other reasonable cleaning duties which may be delegated by the Headteacher or Office Manager.
