Join Our Quirky Crew as a Vulnerable Adults Support Worker!

Location:

  • Lovely Norwich, where the ducks are friendly, and the tea is always brewing.

Salary:

  • £11.80 - £16.50 per hour (enough to fund your coffee habit and maybe a weekend getaway).

Working Arrangement:

  • Various locations in Central Norwich (because we believe in the magic of human interaction).

About Our Client:
At Buttons Recruitment, we’re thrilled to be partnering with some fabulous folks who need a bit of extra support. Our clients are vulnerable adults who might have had a tough past. They’ve been through the wringer and back, so they need you to be their superstar. While experience with challenging behaviour is essential, you’ll also need to be ready to lend a listening ear, a strong hand, or a shoulder to cry on.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience: Must-have experience with challenging behaviour (think lion tamer, but with more heart and fewer lions).
  • Flexibility: Late nights and night shifts are the name of the game. Early shifts or the occasional sleep-in might appear like delightful plot twists.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent spoken English. You should be able to captivate an audience or soothe them to calm – like a human volume dial.
  • Team Player: Be confident yet open to following the core crew’s instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch support to adults who may have experienced substance misuse or trauma.
  • Assist those who might still be dabbling in substance misuse – like a non-judgmental guardian angel.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Variety is the Spice of Life: While hours in this location aren’t guaranteed, we have other spots ready to welcome your talents.
  • Training: Complete top-secret, highly informative blended and face-to-face training at our Norwich HQ.

Legal Bits and Bobs:

  • Must hold an enhanced Adult and Child DBS (The golden ticket to your new adventure).
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience within the UK.
  • If possible, place it on the Update Service for extra kudos.
  • Unfortunately, we can’t offer sponsorship for this role – your right to work in the UK must be already sorted.
