We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead a talented team of engineers, driving the delivery of secure, reliable, and innovative technology services across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to influence the entire IT landscape from day-to-day operations to long-term strategy, while playing a key part in their digital transformation journey. This role is a mix of management, whilst remaining hands on.
Experience leading a team of IT Engineers is essential.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and motivating a team of talented IT Engineers to keep systems running smoothly and securely.
- Managing the full lifecycle of infrastructure, from servers and networks to firewalls, databases, and remote access.
- Taking ownership of disaster recovery and business continuity, ensuring the organisation is always prepared.
- Advising on and implementing technology solutions that deliver real business value.
- Introducing automation, modern tools, and best practices to keep services efficient and future-ready.
- Building strong supplier relationships to ensure service quality and strategic alignment.
- Driving continuous improvement so the technology always meets the demands of the business.
What you'll bring:You're an experienced IT leader who can roll up your sleeves when needed. You know your way around enterprise tech including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, servers and cloud platforms. You're just as comfortable speaking with technical teams as you are with senior stakeholders.
The essentials:
- Solid experience leading IT infrastructure or operations teams.
- Hands-on knowledge across networking, security, servers, and cloud services.
- A track record of delivering business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
- A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on technical oversight.
