Are you an experienced Welder with strong MIG and TIG skills?

Our client, a leading UK manufacturer supplying equipment to an expanding market, is looking for a skilled Welder to join their growing team in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable employment in a clean and well-equipped workshop environment.

The Role:As a Welder, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality MIG and TIG welds on a variety of steel and stainless-steel components. Working from technical drawings, you'll play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring all work meets exact specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other materials
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication diagrams
  • Carry out quality checks, ensuring clean and precise welds
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools to a high standard
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production deadlines
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times
  • Support wider fabrication and assembly tasks as required

About You:

  • Proven MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and work accurately from engineering drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Strong understanding of workshop safety and fabrication practices
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Welding qualifications or certifications (advantageous)
