Job Summary:

We are a well-established, family-run dental practice in Crystal Palace looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse Assistant to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing a career in dental nursing and wants to gain valuable experience in a professional, supportive setting.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists with a range of clinical procedures, ensuring patient care and comfort at all times
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments
  • Support with general administrative duties within the practice
  • Provide patients with information relating to their treatment, aftercare, and follow-up appointments

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Letter of enrolment on an NEBDN-approved dental nursing course, or intention to enrol shortly
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Proof of vaccination

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a dental setting (not essential - full training provided)

Operating Hours: (rotas to be discussed)

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 18:00
  • Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
  • Saturday: 08:00 - 17:00
